Rockwell Automation Announces Q3 Financial Reports

Rockwell Automation, Inc. (NYSE: ROK) today reported its 2010 third quarter revenue f $1.268.1  billion, up 25 percent compared to $1,010.8 million in the third quarter of fiscal 2009.

  • Revenue up 25 percent year over year and up 9 percent sequentially
  • Diluted EPS from continuing operations of $0.83
  • Company raises fiscal 2010 EPS guidance to $2.95 to $3.05

Rockwell’s stock has been going for the past few days. It’s at $55.96 right now (before stock opens today). People were probably buying the stock prior to the announcement today with the belief that the Q3 reports would beat expectations. The earning expectations were at $0.78 on sales of $1.2 billion.
