Motor Control Engineer, Rockwell Automation

Position can be based in Eden Priarie, MN or Mequon, WI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 2-7 years of experience or Masters degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 0-5 years of experience
• Experience with Matlab/Simulink modeling tools
• Experience with feedback control systems
• Experience with AC servo drives and motors
• Experience with vector control of permanent magnet servo motors
• Object-oriented software design using C++

Project Manager/Engineer, Industrial Automation Engineering

The IAE Project Manager acts as a liaison between the sales team and engineering team facilitating the PM process: Candidate must have the ability to understand the project scope and define the project tasks. This includes breaking the project into manageable parts, monitoring and tracking changes, creating schedules, verifying documentation and communicating status of the project. Qualifications:

• Experience with PC based Controls software
• Proficient in Rockwell ControlLogix, Historian, Wonderware, RSView ME, MS SQL, Crystal Reports, VB.Net, Ethernet/Modbus/TCP networks. Damn, anything else?
  10% – 20% of travel time.
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time, to lift up to 50 lbs., type data into a computer, stand for extended periods of time, and use small hand tools. SUCKS.
• Familiar with UL508A, NFPA70E, NEC, Dynamics SL and SharePoint
• Experience in the Food & Beverage, Forest & Wood Products, Gas & Oil, and/or Petro-Chemical industries

They do require quite extensive knowledge of Allen Bradley and Rockwell Automation products and software and pretty much all other industrial software and product. There is no salary posted on the LinkedIn posting. The position is for a project manager so the pay should be pretty decent.
