Meet EN ISO 13849-1 Safety Standard

Get ahead of the curve by complying with the EN ISO 13849-1 Safety Standard before the December 31, 2011 deadline. Rockwell Automation provides a number of ways to help machine builders meet the new European Directive.

Rockwell Automation has created a library of safety product performance level specifications that can be downloaded and used in conjunction with the IFA SISTEMA calculation tool. The SISTEMA calculator generates an attained Performance Level based on the individual components used in a safety system.

Rockwell’s publication Safety-RM004 provides a detailed description of what machine builders need to address in order to comply with the new standard.
