Emerson announced the availability of a smaller variant of CSI 6500 Machinery Health Monitor that allows predictive condition monitoring for rotating equipment for a variety of industrial automation applications.
The new CSI Machinery Health Monitor offers flexible deployment options – standalone configuration, coupled with DeltaV & Oviation Digital automation systems or interfacing with third-party hosts. The added flexibility has been instrumental in the success of the full-sized CSI 6500 device and Emerson is now planning to repeat the success story with its latest smaller-sized offering.
In terms of physical dimensions, the new version is really miniature as compared to the full-sized chassis. The box is 7.5 inches wide and 10.5 inches high and is the perfect solution for installations facing space crunch. Whether you chose a 12- or 24-channel configuration, the smaller CSI 6500 makes best possible use of real estate while offering you the same functionality of the full-sized version.
The smaller CSI 6500 is a perfect solution for applications such as cooling towers, haul trucks, conveyors, wind turbines and other scenarios which use critical equipment in unsafe or hard to reach locations. The device helps identify potential problems proactively to improve overall efficiency of your industrial equipment.
